Mark and Ruth Provis are sent out from Station Hill Baptist Church in Chippenham, and have been in France since 2010.  They have two boys, Elijah and Noah, and have made their home in Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux.

They believe their larger calling is to be makers of disciple-making disciples, and for the present time God has called them to France where we are currently working with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), and leading the Discipleship Training School (DTS) in St Paul-Trois-Chateaux.  This is a bilingual school (French/English) with staff and students from around the world.

The DTS is the foundation school of YWAM, and is designed to help the participants understand and know God more deeply, live more like Jesus, identify their unique gifts, and begin to understand their God-given purpose in missions, whether locally or cross-culturally.  The DTS is an intensive, residential training course which begins with an 11 or 12 week classroom phase, followed by an 8-12 week outreach.  It emphasises cross-cultural exposure and global awareness, preparing students to answer the call to fulfil the Great Commission.

Mark and Ruth are also in the process of pioneering a brand new School of Intercession and Evangelism, which has the long term vision of seeing teams of intercessors and evangelists being established across France to work alongside local churches, supporting them in discipling the nation.
